Cassie Kerns
Founder & Principal Consultant
Cassie Kerns is a reliability leader with over a decade of experience helping industrial organizations improve maintenance and reliability performance in complex, high-risk environments. Her background spans enterprise reliability programs, CMMS transformations, and hands-on reliability execution across heavy manufacturing. She holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Reliability and Maintainability from University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!).
Cassie believes the most common reason reliability initiatives fail isn’t technical, it’s how organizations manage change with their people. Tools, standards, and best practices only work when they are understood, trusted, and owned. Her work focuses on aligning teams, processes, and systems so improvements are practical, adopted, and sustained.
Known for a direct, data-driven, and pragmatic approach, Cassie brings clarity and structure to change efforts so organizations can move forward with confidence.
She lives in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina with her husband, Tim. Their grown daughter, Makayla, is based in Nashville and works in the music industry, but has mastered the art of turning the world into her office. As a family, they value curiosity, adventure, and a strong sense of community.
